Sohil Shah

I am a fourth year PhD student at the Operations Research Center (ORC) and Laboratory of Information and Decision Sytems (LIDS), MIT, advised by Prof. Saurabh Amin and Prof. Patrick Jaillet.

My research interests center on information design, prophet inequalities and online learning with applications in ride-sharing, network resilience, transportation networks and epidemiological modelling.

I previously did my undergraduate work at University of Wisconsin - Madison and studied mathematics, chemistry, economics and computer science. I also spent a year and a half at Amazon as a software engineer. I have previously also interned at: Amazon CoreAI, Optiver LLC and The Brattle Group.
